The Macomb Group, a wholesale distributor of pipes, valves and fittings has purchased Spec II Ventures Ltd’s 50,450 sq. ft., one-story building in Lima, Ohio. The Macomb Group is based in Sterling Heights, Michigan purchased the property as part of its expansion efforts into the state of Ohio.

The Macomb Group plans to use the Lima property for warehouse, distribution and light fabrication operations. They have two additional Ohio locations in Northwood and Richfield.

Seven local businessmen partnered as the seller, forming the not-for-profit Spec II Ventures Ltd. in order to finance the sale of this facility and assist the economic development group in Lima. “With Binswanger negotiating the transaction, our plan worked exactly as intended, which was to bring new business and economic benefit to the community,” said William Walter, partner ion Spec II Ventures and head of Lima-based Trisco Systems, Inc.
