The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) named its new Executive Director, Eric Lanke. He has over thirteen years of experience in association management, and is recognized as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). His most recent position held, was Associate Executive Vice President of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a 6,500-member association.
“I’m very excited about my new position with NFPA,” Lanke said. “The association has enjoyed a lot of success in recent years, and I’m looking forward to contributing my own unique background and experience to help shape its future.”
Lanke was selected after the Executive Committee of NFPA’s Board of Directors completed a nationwide search. Succeeding Linda Western who will retire February 28, 2007 after 7 years a NFPA Executive Director.
