What’s on Tap for the Plastics Pipe & Parts Manufacturing Market?

The plastics pipe and parts manufacturing industry has experienced something of a boom recently.  The industry has grown an average of 7.8 percent each year over the past five years, says this recent market report from IBISWorld.  The increasing costs of competitive products, as well as stability in some parts of the construction sector, have been driving that growth.

Down the road, this industry is looking forward to the recovery of the construction sector, which will support growth in demand for all types of pipes.  A strong outlook is forecast thanks to growth in water consumption. In addition, many sewage treatment facilities are in need of upgrading or repair.  However, high gas prices will constrain domestic auto production, which may reduce expansions of auto-related production facilities.

What’s covered in this report: The key statistics chapter provides the key indicators for the industry for at least the last three years. The statistics included are industry revenue, industry gross product, employment, establishments, exports, imports, domestic demand and total wages. Go here for more information on this report:
